Alaska Pubcasters Bridge Audio with Wheatstone

October 29, 2004
After Alaska Public Radio merged with parent company APTI, Alaska Public Telecommunications have purchased a Wheatsone Bridge audio network.

The three Wheatstone Bride digital audio network routers and three satellite router cages will be used in the TV/radio broadcasting facility in Anchorage. For live mixing and production, the radio division bought two Generation 3 compact control surfaces and three Generation 4 surfaces.

For TV audio, operators at the facility will use the Wheatstone D-9 digital television master control console with Dolby Digital 5.1 and mix-minus clean feed outputs.
