Adelstein Makes Staff Changes

FCC Commissioner Jonathan S. Adelstein announced this week that Barry Ohlson, his current spectrum and international legal advisor, would also assume the duties of senior legal advisor.

Ohlson has worked with Adelstein since the commissioner was sworn in. Before joining Adelstein's office, Ohlson was worked primarily in the FCC's wireless division. Previously, Ohlson spent four years at Winstar Communications, Inc., as senior director for federal regulatory affairs, in addition to serving as an associate at the law firms of McDermott, Will, & Emery and at Keller and Heckman. Ohlson holds a J.D. from George Washington University and a B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
