16x9 unveils Zoe ENG remote zoom control

16x9 has introduced Zoe ENG by Bebob, an updated version of the Zoe remote zoom control for full-size broadcast cameras.

Zoe ENG offers a full range of remote functions, including variable stepless zoom speed control, record start/stop button, return function and reversible zoom direction, in a compact package.

Instead of requiring multiple models to accommodate different lens systems, the Zoe ENG uses electronic software to adapt to different optics.

The Zoe-ENG-8 is compatible with all Angenieux, Canon and Fujinon eight-pin lenses. The Zoe-ENG-12 works with all 12-pin lenses. Operators who wish to adapt the unit for other camera systems can exchange the adapter cable.

Housed in a lightweight, polycarbonate casing, Zoe ENG adjusts zoom function through the system’s pressure-sensitive rocker switch. Speed of the zoom is in direct relation to the pressure applied to the control. Integrated software prevents stuttering when changing speed or direction.
