WFLA-TV purchases more Fujinon lenses for ENG

A compact, lightweight lens, the Fujinon A18x7.6BERM features a wide angle of 60 degrees at 7.6mm, focal length range of 7.6 to 137mm and 18x magnification.

WFLA-TV, the NBC affiliate serving the Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL market, purchased six Fujinon A18x7.6BERM broadcast ENG/EFP zoom lenses late last year and has nine additional Fujinon A18x7.6BERM/BERD lenses, all of which are used daily for ENG acquisition.

At WFLA-TV, a team of 23 videographers cover news stories in the station’s 10-county coverage area. The Fujinon lenses are used with Panasonic P2 cameras that store images on a solid state P2 memory card.

A compact, lightweight lens, the A18x7.6BERM features a wide angle of 60 degrees at 7.6mm, focal length range of 7.6 to 137mm, 18x magnification and greater image clarity.

The Media General station produces four live newscasts daily.
