TVE Spain buys 16 Ross Video Synergy 100 switchers

TVE Spain has purchased 16 Ross Video Synergy 100 SD digital production switchers to be installed as part of several digital upgrades.

TVE acquired the switchers to digitize existing editing suites, small OB vans and control rooms in its production centers in Madrid and a few of its regional facilities. Installation is expected to be complete by the fall 2006.

The switchers destined for the editing suites in Madrid will be integrated into A/B roll systems where TVE edits news magazines and other productions that are broadcast to the entire country. The OB vans are used to cover smaller events.
