Televisión Canaria orders four Advent NewSwift satellite antennas

Televisión Canaria, the autonomous TV network for the Canary Islands, is purchasing four vehicle-mounted NewSwift satellite antennas manufactured by Advent Communications in the UK.

The new antennas will be used to give the broadcaster a digital satellite newsgathering (DSNG) vehicle for each island.

Televisión Canaria, the Spanish-language broadcaster for the Canary Islands, also broadcasts to mainland Spain and South America.

The contract was awarded following a successful tender by Advent's Spanish representative, dB Comunicaciones, in Madrid, Spain.
