SUIRG annual conference to address satellite RFI

The Satellite Users Interference Reduction Group (SUIRG) will hold its annual conference July 11 to 13 at the Hilton Stockholm Slussen Hotel in Stockholm, Sweden.

Global and regional satellite operators, service providers, uplinkers, manufacturers and others concerned about the costs associated with the rising incidence of RFI problems will be in attendance.

Interference is taking a financial toll on the satellite industry. SUIRG members from private industry and the public sector work to share and disseminate satellite RFI information and remedies. The group works with the industry to define equipment standards and proficiency training, and pursues programs to reduce or mitigate satellite radio frequency interference.
