SatCom Group subsidiary to offer Inmarsat BGAN service

Mobile satellite communications reseller SatCom Group has announced wholly owned subsidiary Net Africa Arabia has achieved full status as a BGAN Distribution Partner.

The step lets Net Africa Arabia provide its customers with the enhanced functionality of BGAN, which can be accessed across 85 percent of the Earth's land mass.

Based on IP technology, BGAN delivers data rates of up to 492Kb/s. The service is accessed via a range of small, lightweight satellite terminals, which are easy to carry, quick to set up and simple to use.
