SAPEC supplies video encoders, decoders to Telefonica

SAPEC has provided SIVAC 1200 MPEG-2 SD encoders and decoders to Telefónica for video contribution links used by Spanish broadcaster TVE from its regional centers in Murcia and La Rioja over 34Mb/s PDH-based networks.

SAPEC supplied, installed and activated the final system as part of a turnkey video transport project.

The single-channel SIVAC 1200 family meets 422P@ML professional code profiles, including the MP@ML option, and offers a PDH output interface. Other features include: SDI video I/O with four embedded audio input/outputs, VBI transmission and IP-based central management.
