Sachtler to feature new dimmable LED camera light

Sachtler will highlight the newly introduced Reporter 8LEDim, an on-camera LED lighting fixture that can be dimmed continuously from 100 percent to 30 percent, during the NAB Show next month.

The new camera light is equipped with LED technology to provide long bulb life and higher efficiency than comparable halogen or HMI lights.

The Reporter 8LEDim features input voltage ranging from 6V to 24V, which allows it to be powered off the same battery or power supply the camera is using, including Sachtler's FSB cell. At 8W of power consumption, the light can provide 250 lumens of light. The light features a removable 45-degree rotatable four-leaf barndoor and a PowerBase connection that makes it easy to change the fixture's optic sets.

See Sachtler at the NAB Show in Booth C6027.
