RF Central acquires Total RF Marketing

RF Central has acquired 100 percent ownership of Total RF Marketing in Bensalem, PA. The acquisition was completed Oct. 28.

With Total RF as a new division, RF Central now employs more than 80 people.

RF Central supplies microwave equipment to U.S. TV broadcasters. Its business has increased in large part due to the FCC’s mandate to replace 2 GHz analog transmitters and receivers with new, digital microwave equipment by September 2007.

Total RF’s business is focused on renting RF equipment to broadcasters, mainly for large sporting events, such as the Olympics, golf and other live events.
