Network Electronics to introduce MOT-BOX mobile transport enclosure

Options for the MOT-BOX include a fiber reel with MIL specified tactile fiber, and AC and DC power supplies.

Network Electronics will introduce MOT-BOX – a compact, 3RU, lightweight mobile transport enclosure – to its flashlink’s housing options at NAB2005.

MOT-BOX houses all flashlink optical transport, signal processing and distribution cards, including WDM/CWDM. Its rugged design and connector panel, including an expanded beam hermaphroditid fiber connector, make it well-suited for all mobile and outside broadcast applications.

Options include a fiber reel with MIL specified tactile fiber, AC and DC power supplies, and a monitoring/alarming function via Network Electronics’ GYDA controller.
