N Systems ships first central receive system for 2GHz BAS relocation

The N Systems 2GHz BAS relocation sale included five Silhouette antennas.
NSI shipped the first central receive antenna system for the 2GHz BAS relocation last month, the company announced. The sale consisted of five Silhouette and nine Superquad central receive antennas, 14 SCU-322 system control units and four MC5 remote control master workstations.

The sale is one of the largest for a single BAS end user, according to the company. The 2GHz BAS relocation project is part of an agreement between the FCC and Sprint Nextel to relocate the BAS users in 31.5 months.
