LiveShots achieves milestone

LiveShots New York, the studio arm of Media 3, achieved a milestone this month when it served its 30,000th on-air guest.

LiveShots, which opened its doors in 1997, offers extensive fiber and satellite connectivity to broadcasters and media organizations from its independent studio in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

Its studios offer numerous custom backgrounds, including various New York cityscapes. In addition, guests are provided with the latest news wires and any other information they might need for their appearances.

LiveShots’ first guest was author Robert Ludlum, who appeared in 1997 on behalf of 5 DTV in Ottawa.
