Kata introduces protective camera solutions

The CRC-15 slips quickly over the camera and is easily secured with integrated adjusters and pull-cords.

For applications and situations requiring shots to be taken in the harshest of weather conditions, Kata has unveiled the CRC-15 rain cover.

Specifically designed to house the new Sony HDV, FX1 and Z1E, the CRC-15 features clear and waterproof vinyl panels on control sides of the camera, an adjustable mic sleeve and room to open LCD monitors.

The CRC-15 slips quickly over the camera and is easily secured with integrated adjusters and pull-cords. A roomy bottom opening provides easy access and allows hands to move comfortably under the rain cover. For larger DV cams, Kata is also introducing its RC-HD-3 rain cover that provides the same protection from severe weather conditions with the added reliability of ultra seam seal protection.
