Inmarsat honors GCS for BGAN success

Inmarsat has recognized Global Communications Solutions (GCS) with an award for its sales of the new Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) technology.

GCS has supplied portable satellite communications equipment and services for the past five years and was chosen to participate in Inmarsat’s beta test program in 2005.

The company signed its first BGAN contract with a major 24-hour news channel only weeks after the launch of commercial service.
