Hitachi Kokusai Electric unveils HV-HD201 camera

At IBC2009, Hitachi Kokusai Electric launched the HV-HD201 multiformat HD camera that features a small, separate head.

Designed for a variety of applications, including point-of view video production, the HV-HD201 delivers high resolution and high sensitivity. It is switchable between various modes, including: 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 720/59.94p and 720/50p HDTV output, as well as 480/59.94i and 576/50i SD output. HD-SDI and HD camera output also are available.

The HV-HD201 has intelligent auto level control as well as an auto electronic shutter to maintain a fixed video level. The camera has six-vector, color-independent variable masking.

The HV-HD201 also can be controlled remotely either by PC or by an optional remote-control unit.
