Fujitsu showcases MPEG-4 AVC newsgathering encoder

Fujitsu is highlighting its new IP-900, a compact MPEG-4 AVC encoder for real-time IP transmission of SD/HD content for newsgathering and remote applications, at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.

The Fujitsu IP-900 reduces cost, improves efficiency and offers low latency and best-in-class picture quality at the lowest possible bit rates. The Fujitsu IP-900 combines best-in-class performance, low power consumption and a 1RU, half-rack width size.
