FOR-A to feature HVS-300HS switcher at Broadcast Video Expo

FOR-A will show its compact HVS-300HS 1ME video switcher for the first time in the UK at the Broadcast Video Expo convention in London, Feb. 17-19.

A newcomer to the HANABI range, the HVS-300HS to be shown is the first production model of the portable HD/SD switcher. Packaged in 1RU, this switcher is well-suited for flypacks and includes advanced features such as a sizable range of inputs with simultaneous HD/SD operation.

Despite its size, the HVS-300HS includes a 16-split multiviewer and from four to 12 inputs, each with its own frame synchronizer and resizing engine to accept any mix of unsynchronized SD and HD feeds. With optional I/Os that include digital HD/SD-SDI and DVI-D, as well as analog HD/SD RGB, component and PAL/NTSC composite, the HVS-300 plugs into most places without external converters.
