Davenport station adds DIGITAL PROceiver IFB solution

KWQC in Davenport, IA, has been using the Modulation Sciences DIGITAL PROceiver on the air since mid October and put the system to work for its election day coverage.

According to station chief engineer Doug Bierman, the station installed the DIGITAL PROceiver in two trucks in a single day. The station previously used Modulation Sciences PRO Channel analog IFB systems, and Bierman finds the new digital solution to be “much cleaner than the analog PROs.”

To date, Modulation Sciences has delivered nearly 100 DIGITAL PROceivers.
