Chrosziel to introduce digital remote control for Panasonic HVX200

At IBC2006, Chrosziel will unveil the DigiFox digital wireless focus control, a single-channel remote system that controls the Panasonic HVX200 internal focus and start and stop record functions via the camera’s remote jack.

The DigiFox operates in the 434MHz frequency band and offers 16 channels to choose from. Transmission of digital data packages assures safe signalling under any condition.

The DigiFox offers a coverage range of about 2000ft outdoors and about 260ft inside buildings. The receiver measures 3in x 1.5in x 3.7in and weighs 9oz. The unit can control external motors with incremental encoders and internal focus drive ENG lenses from Canon and Fujinon.
