Broadcast Microwave to spotlight Truck-Coder II at NAB2007

At NAB2007, Broadcast Microwave Services will highlight the Truck-Coder II (TCII) COFDM digital transmitter for ENG and OB operations.

Designed to meet the rugged environmental needs of ENG news vehicles, the TCII is easy-to-use, reliable and has 100 available presets that can be entered through front panel controls or downloaded through a front panel Ethernet port.

The indoor component of the TCII is a single unit, 2RU rack-mounted controller. The outdoor component is an antenna-mounted RF unit configured to operate in the 2GHz frequency band. An optional second RF unit can be added to support dual-band operation at either 2GHz or 7GHz. The system also features 6MHz RF bandwidth capability for simultaneous transmission of two adjacent signals within a 12MHz channel.

The TCII is compatible with external HD encoders that output an ASI transport stream.
