AVS provides wireless HD coverage for NBA Finals

Aerial Video Systems provided HD RF camera systems for the ABC Sports coverage of the NBA Finals.

The AVS/Link HD RF system captured the action on the court and throughout the arena without the encumbrance of cables. AVS also beamed vivid HD aerials from high above the American Airlines arena in Dallas from its Partenavia twin-engine airplane.

Inside the venue, AVS married the Link HD microwave system to a Thomson Grass Valley LDK-6000 with a Canon HJ11ex4.7B wide-angle lens. For the aerials, AVS used the Link HD transmitter attached to a Cineflex HD camera system.
