Anton/Bauer unveils pro power system for JVC GY-HD100

The QR-JVC 7/14HDV supplies the proper regulated operating voltage to the JVC GY-HD100 camera while providing the ability to use standard 12-volt video accessories.

Anton/Bauer has introduced the QR-JVC 7/14HDV, a professional power system for the new JVC GY-HD100 ProHD camcorder.

The QR-JVC 7/14HDV eliminates the dependence on small consumer batteries by providing access to Anton/Bauer’s entire range of Gold Mount batteries. This specially designed Gold Mount supplies the proper regulated operating voltage to the GY-HD100 camera while providing the ability to use standard 12-volt video accessories, such as on-camera lighting — all powered from the same battery.

The mount also features a RealTime interface to the camera, which JVC employs to display the battery’s remaining runtime in hours and minutes directly in the viewfinder of the camera.

A single Anton/Bauer Dionic 90 will operate the camera for up to five hours. A HyTRON 120 can provide similar runtime with a light and accessories — a single battery for virtually all day professional shooting.
