WPTV-TV kicks off HD local newscast

WPTV, serving Palm Beach and South Florida, began producing its local newscast in HD Aug. 4.

WPTV is the second E.W. Scripps-owned station in Florida to begin broadcasting HD local newscasts during the past few weeks. On July 28, WFTS-TV in Tampa, FL, began producing its local news in HD. (See: “Planning, practice, dash to finish line make WFTS-TV HD newscast transition successful.” )

WMUR-TV Says FAA Drone Rules Preclude ENG
