VUDU expands HD titles

Internet entertainment service VUDU has expanded its online library of HD content to more than 1100 titles following a month-long effort in October during which the company added 150 HD titles per week.

The company will continue its aggressive expansion campaign, adding a variety of HD content from mainstream new releases to independent titles and classics. VUDU offers two HD formats — its instant start HD and the 1080p HDX format.

VUDU customers with Internet bandwidth of 4Mb/s or more can watch every HD movie offered on VUDU instantly without waiting for downloads or buffering.
