VegasHD relies on MultiDyne HD-3000

VegasHD, a new mobile HD television production facility in Las Vegas has selected the MultiDyne HD-3000 series 3Gb/s serial digital video fiber-optic transport link for the first permanent HD broadcast studio on the Las Vegas Strip, located in Trader Vic’s at the Planet Hollywood Resort Casino.

The HD-3000 series 3Gb/s serial digital video fiber-optic transport link, which supports the new 1080p progressive 3Gb/s HD format, will allow VegasHD to offer fiber capabilities in multiple Las Vegas locations.

Designed to ease the engineering and financial difficulties associated with the migration to digital and HDTV, the HD-3000 provides an economical solution for the fiber-optic transport and distribution of virtually any digital signal from 5Mb/s to 3Gb/s.
