Ukraine’s Poverkhnost adds new HD production truck for sports

Ukrainian production company Poverkhnost has added a new HD-capable mobile production truck to its fleet, which provides a wide range of services for live sports broadcasts and streaming of public events. Sony Professional Solutions served as systems integrator for the project, which includes 16 Sony HD cameras.

Poverkhnost’s new HDTV production truck, one of the most advanced in Europe, will cover the UEFA Champions League and European League, for which Poverkhnost holds the exclusive rights in Ukraine. It features 16 cameras (30 camera channels are provided) and is designed specifically for producing live soccer matches in HD.

When not covering the Ukrainian UEFA matches, the new HD truck will be available for lease in the wider European market.
