U Direct turns to Media 100 HD, 844/X finishing system

The Media 100 HD is a 10-bit uncompressed Macintosh-based system that can mix multiple-resolution SD and HD material in the same timeline.
U Direct Productions in New York City has purchased the Media 100 HD to meet its current and future needs for broadcast spot production.

The Media 100 HD is a 10-bit uncompressed Macintosh-based system that can mix multiple-resolution SD and HD material in the same timeline. It will let U Direct edit and deliver high-quality broadcast masters for advertising agencies, corporate brands and other clients in 4:3, 16:9 without going out of house.

The move strengthens the company's one-stop capabilities, which include real-time editing, effects, compositing and finishing using the 844/X.

The Media 100 844/X offers online editing and effects finishing with real-time, 10-bit uncompressed editing and compositing power. Version 3 features advanced, real-time, high-precision keying and real-time 3D digital video effects.
