Token Creek Mobile selects Calrec Omega console for HD truck upgrade

Token Creek Mobile Television near Madison, WI, is installing a 56-fader Calrec Omega console in its Hiawatha OB truck, which is being upgraded to all-HD operation. Hiawatha's sister truck, Varsity, already carries a Calrec Sigma with Bluefin console.

Calrec’s Bluefin High-Density Signal Processing makes the console a popular choice for OB trucks because it provides the power and flexibility to configure complex shows in a compact footprint. The Omega features 160 channel-processing paths packaged as 48 stereo and 64 mono channels, allowing up to 24 full 5.1 surround channels. Omega also features Calrec's TFT metering capabilities to offer maximum control of the assignable system.
