The Post Group adds Trion audio console

Harrison Consoles has delivered the first Trion digital post-production console in Hollywood, CA, to The Post Group.

The 32-fader, 128-channel Trion console incorporates Harrison's film surround monitoring for all surround formats including 7.1. Harrison's exclusive PreView waveform display is provided for every channel. This unique display provides mixers a 20-second envelope — a 10-second preview of audio to be played and a 10-second waveform history display of audio already played.

The facility needed a large-format digital console, and the ability of the Trion console to mix inputs from various digital audio workstations will help the post facility meet the delivery needs of its clients, said The Post Group senior engineer Rick Wilson.
