Teranex to unveil 1RU HDTV format converter

Teranex will introduce the Teranex 1RU, a two channel, low profile HDTV format converter for the broadcast and production market and NAB2006.

The new converter/HD frame synchronizer, which offers an array of audio and video I/Os, was designed to ingest any feed, synchronize it and convert it to the desired SD and/or HD output.

The Teranex 1RU has at-a-glance status indication of the processing and provides access to all major functions with no more than two button presses. The 1RU front panel consists of an array of color-coded buttons and a color LCD screen controller which doubles as a picture monitor. The front panel is also removable for remote operation.

See the Teranex at NAB2006 in booth SU-4983 or visit www.teranex.com.
