Telemetrics offers remotely controlled camera wall-mount system

Telemetrics’ new Elevating Wall Mount System is a remotely controlled camera positioning system that offers both vertical and horizontal positioning for pan and tilt camera movement to help create a virtual studio environment.

The belt-driven track system controls camera position, preset and motion control features in tandem with various Telemetrics control panels and related computer software. The X and Z tracks each measure up to 9.84ft and can handle a load of 70lbs. The systems are specified with a minimum speed of 0.1ft/s and a maximum speed of 2.5ft/s.

The BT-TRK-008 wall-mounted system comes with wall, ceiling and/or floor mounting brackets, floor leveling feet, cable track and pan/tilt mount including the motor drive panels and motors, and can be custom designed to the customer’s specification.

For virtual studio applications, the system relies on the optional X-Z positional encoders, which deliver precise data coordinates. The positional information is processed into serial format and sent to the virtual studio computer.
