Scientific Atlanta to feature new MPEG-4 AVC HD encoder at NAB2007

At NAB2007, Scientific Atlanta will highlight the new D9054 AVC HD encoder, which implements the MPEG-4/H.264 toolset.

The D9054 AVC HD encoder delivers high-quality, HD and SD video at bandwidth-saving bit rates. The product's flexible, new Scientific Atlanta stat mux architecture will enable content distributors to mix SD and HD content in MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 formats.
