Sachtler offers Cine 7+7 HD fluid head system

Sachtler has introduced the Cine 7+7 HD fluid head, which includes a front pan bar and supports cameras weighing 4.4lbs-48.5lbs.

Sachtler’s 100mm system handles a variety of packages ranging from HDV camcorders to full-sized cameras loaded with accessories. At 7.3lbs, the location-ready Cine 7+7 HD is one of the lightest weight heads in its class.

The new fluid head is equipped with a sideload clamp for the camera plate. The 6in displacement area of the camera plate offers lateral loading of the head via the premounted camera setup. The Cine 7+7 HD’s brake lever and swivel arm employ a dual compound molding procedure to promote a sure grip.

The Cine 7+7 HD fluid head is well-suited for a variety of HDV and HD productions. The payload can be switched between high and low with a boost button. Seven horizontal and vertical adjustable levels of drag (plus 0) ensure jolt-free pans and tilts. The 7+7 HD offers a temperature range from below 40 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, making it ready for use in extreme climatic zones.
