RF Central introduces HD camera-mounted transmitter

RF Central, based in Carlisle, PA, is now offering a new HD transmitter that mounts directly to the camera.

Leveraging the latest in NEL encoder technology and linear RF amplification technology from Gigawave, the lightweight RFX-CMT-HD HD camera mount transmitter features minimal frame delay and low power consumption.

The unit is available in various frequency bands, most notably the 2GHz band for the BAS frequency relocation project. This HD capability will be available in all RF Central’s ENG transmitters and receivers.

RF Central offers equipment, installations and repairs, and is a full-service solution source for the 2GHz relocation project. Together with its subsidiary, Total RF, RF Central provides event broadcast design, planning, communications, equipment and production services for a wide variety of sporting and live broadcast needs including events such as NFL games, the US Open, The Olympics and ESPN MLB.
