Prisma Outside Broadcast adds EVS technology to production mix

Prisma Outside Broadcast, part of MediaTech Group in Göteborg, Sweden, has purchased EVS live production technology for two new HD OB vans as well as to upgrade an existing SD OB van to HD.

Twelve HD XT[2] production servers, equipped with related software applications, including MulticamLSM, IPDirector and XFile[2], were delivered in March, allowing Prisma to broadcast the ISU World Figure Skating Championships live in HD from Göteborg.

One EVS engineer was on hand for the event to backup the Prisma engineering staff in configuring and implementing the new setup.
