PatchAmp, Trompeter collaborate

Distribution amp and patching system manufacturer PatchAmp has partnered with Trompeter to deliver improved HD network infrastructures.

Trompeter has modified its HDVDPM SMPTE 292M-compliant jack to a board-mounted package to work in combination with the compact PatchAmp Lite series, including the 901 Lite patch jack and distribution amplifier.

The PatchAmp’s 901 Lite, which eliminates the traditional wiring between DA and jack, is designed for 1080p50/60 broadcast infrastructures supporting data rates up to 3Gb/s.

Available as individual units or loaded into panels, the Trompeter video patch jack series includes the HDVDP (full-size WeCo) and HDVDPM (miniWECo) products.
