Panasonic unveils remote head HD camera system

Panasonic's new HD remote head camera system allows television producers to acquire HD shots where conventional HD cameras cannot go.

The new Panasonic GP-US932 remote head HD camera system can be mounted virtually anywhere the action is taking place.

The Panasonic GP-US932 is 1080i and 720p selectable, with three 1/3in-type 16:9 high-sensitivity progressive HD sensors running at a full 60fps. A newly developed DSP offers image sampling accuracy with 14-bit A/D conversion and 19-bit inner processing.

A 12-axis matrix control provides superior lifelike color accuracy, with independent color control for optimal performance. Additionally, a unique dynamic range feature expands contrast in dark areas without sacrificing detail in bright areas.
