Oxygen introduces Astrodesign HD disc recorder

Oxygen has announced the Astrodesign HR7401 uncompressed HD dual-link disc recorder.

Well suited for HDTV digital cinematography, sports broadcasting, VFX and telecine transfer, the HR7401 has a 20-minute record capacity for dual link (4:4:4) HDTV or 40 minutes of 4:2:2 HD on a single removable disc.

The HR7401 comes with Fibre Channel, FireWire and video output support for material transfer. The unit's RS-422 protocol remote control conforms to Sony standards, making it suitable for use with third-party controllers, including slow-motion devices.
