Orad says 3D graphics systems remain hot item for sports broadcasts

Thanks to the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympics and the World Cup, Orad Hi-Tec Systems, a longtime provider of 3D real-time graphic solutions, said it is seeing an increased demand for sports graphics systems with sales in November alone of three sports enhancement systems to South American broadcasters including Brazil’s TV GLOBO.

The contracts for November alone are valued at close to $1 million.

TV GLOBO, which has a long history of relying on Orad’s sport solutions, chose Orad’s MVP, while other South American broadcasters also picked Orad’s MVP as well as its TrackVision sport solution because of its HD capabilities.
