NVision supplies routing systems to Ascent Media for Asian cable center

NVision has supplied an array of routing systems for use in a new cable and satellite broadcasting center in Singapore operated by Ascent Media.

The order included an NV8256 512x512 digital video router configured for 240x240 SD-format signals, an NV3256 data port router and an NV9000 dual enhanced control system.

In addition to full external automation control, the routers also will be operated under manual control using standard NVision panels to provide system operators with a user-friendly interface for emergency intervention and QC monitoring.

The NV8256 digital video router supports HD-SDI, SDI and analog video, and is expandable to 512-by-512 without DAs or secondary switching.
