NVISION supplies router for DIRECTV HD infrastructure

To ensure continuous, error-free delivery of DIRECTV’s newly expanded national HD programming, NVISION has developed a signal-processing infrastructure that includes a mix of its video routers and router control systems and panels.

DIRECTV has deployed NVISION’s NV8256-Plus large-scale video routers, the NV8288 digital video router, the NV9000 router control systems, along with numerous state-of-the-art NV9640/41 router control panels that include up to 30 relegendable LCD buttons for control of multiple sources.

Installations around the world use the NV8256-Plus for mission-critical applications in which downtime is not tolerated and where NVISION’s error-free HD-SDI Super Wide Band (SWB) signal transport technology is required.
