Nucomm ENG product line now capable of HD operation

Nucomm unveiled its new 7 Series HD-ready products at IBC, and said that its entire digital microwave product line is now capable of HD operation using built-in encoding/decoding technology. All 7 Series products can be delivered with HD capability or delivered as SD for a future field upgrade to HD via a software key. The new 7 Series replaces the SD product line as Nucomm’s standard offering.

All 7 Series products provide multiple modulation modes (VSB, COFDM, DVB-S, FM), dual-, tri-band RF outputs and ease of use.

The series includes the Channel Master TX7 portable transmitter, the Channel Master RX7 portable receiver, the Newscaster VT7 ENG/OB van transmitter and the Newscaster CR7 central receiver.
