NTT Electronics to highlight AVC H.264 encoding, IP transport of HD

NTT Electronics and its NTT R&D laboratories will jointly exhibit several HD solutions for video content creation, transmission and delivery at IBC2006 (stand 1.441).

The company’s exhibit will also feature the latest AVC H.264 technology being developed at NTT Cyber Space Laboratories.

NTT Electronics will show its new HVE7100 encoder supporting the AVC H.264 HD profile. In addition, the company will demonstrate IP transport of HDTV video using the NA5000 IP interface system, featuring Gb Ethernet output, forward error correction (FEC) and encryption.
