NewTek TriCaster streams Big 12 Football Championship

NewTek’s TriCaster portable production system was used to produce and stream the Big 12 Football Championship over the Internet. The events were shown Dec. 5-6 on http://www.Big12sports.com/.

The webcast included significant additional information, including the kickoff luncheon, coaches press conference, legends reception and a post-game show.

TriCaster is a portable production studio that allows a single person or minimal crew to produce network-style live video and distribute the event simultaneously to Web, video and projector. It enables switching between as many as six cameras with two VCRs, multichannel effects and NewTek’s LiveSet virtual sets.
