Network Electronics to unveil HD audio embedder/de-embedder

Network Electronics will introduce its AV-HDMUX for HD audio embedding and de-embedding at IBC2005 in Amsterdam next month.

The new HD audio embedding/de-embedding modules are an extension of the company’s flashlink signal transport and processing product range.

The AV-HDMUX line supports multi-format SD/HD in a compact frame. It furnishes both embedder and de-embedder in one unit and offers both optical input and output options. AV-HDMUX embeds four AES streams with selectable sample rate conversion allowing rates from 24- to 96kHz (8kHz-216kHz). It also can embed one RS-422 serial interface with up to 115,200kb/s baud rate.
