NEP Supershooters covers 14th annual ESPN Summer X Games in HD

Sports production company NEP Supershooters will be on-site in Los Angeles this year with three of its most technically advanced HD trucks — SS11, SS20 and SS25 — to cover all aspects of the alternative sports events. The games, which run July 31 to Aug. 3 and air live on ESPN and ABC, will be held at the Staples Center, in Los Angeles, and The Home Depot Center, in Carson, CA.

The veteran mobile production company, based in Pittsburgh, PA, will use a variety of HD technology to capture and broadcast the ESPN X Games in the 720p HD format. This includes Thomson Grass Valley HD cameras, switchers, routers and modular gear; PESA routers; Canon HD lenses; Calrec digital audio consoles; Sennheiser microphones; EVS servers; Panasonic D-5 VTRs; and Vinten pedestals.
