Move Networks and iStreamPlanet join to deliver HD video

iStreamPlanet and Move Networks have announced a partnership to enhance and simplify delivery of HD video applications across multiple platforms.

Move Networks is a provider of Internet television services, while iStreamPlanet specializes in digital media strategy, managed webcasting services, and rich Internet applications.

iStreamPlanet has developed a customized media player with Move Networks to make it easier to deploy content through Microsoft Silverlight, a cross-browser, multiplatform plug-in for delivering media via the Web. Templates for the player are also integrated into iStreamPlanet’s new Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, currently in trials.

The partnership allows the two companies to offer customers an integrated platform to support the creation and deployment of HD-quality video applications and webcasting of live events. Multi-\format content will adjust automatically to the viewing platform, whether a laptop computer or smart phone.
