Miranda launches JAZZ-800

Miranda Technologies has introduced the JAZZ-800 single/dual channel universal signal processor, which offers up/down/crossconversion and A-to-D/D-to-A in 1RU.

The JAZZ-800 is well suited for conversion in dynamic signal environments where multiple signal types are present, such as network feed centers and mobile trucks.

The JAZZ-800 is available in three core configurations: single channel, one and a half channels (single input, dual independent outputs) and dual independent channels. Options include logo insertion, a DVI-I output and Dolby E decoding.

The built-in HD/SD linear standards conversion simplifies signal processing in mixed format environments. For instance, it can be used in a typical network feed center for converting HD-SDI from 1080i 50Hz to 1080i 59.94Hz.
